wrt ant deploy thread

hello,

when trying to install ID-FF 1.2 Java I get the ant deploy error that
has been discussed in this list.
Have you managed to find what is wrong? The message I get the same one
reported in the list by cshnyder99:

{idff.dir} does not exist

Sun Java 1.5.0
JBoss 3.2.4
Ant 1.6.3

Just figured this one out last week.

You need to modify the "jboss.dir" value in the original "build.properties"
files within each of the demo directories (CastlePeak, Demo,
Infrastructure).

DO NOT modify a single "build.properties" file, then copy to the other
directories. If you already have, extract the original files from the id-ff
package and re-modify.

You can also drop a build.local.properties file into each directory
with just jboss.dir=/your/path/to/jboss-3.2.x - I believe this is the
preferred method.

Actually I tried that also - without success. I think it may be an OS
issue... I am running Win 2003 Server, the "build.local.porperties" files
look suspiciously Linux to me ;-)
